About The Show

20,000 Roads The Music of Gram Parsons
Pat Guadagno • James Maddock • Lisa Bouchelle

Known as the ‘Father of Country Rock’ Gram Parsons’ importance to popular music cannot be overstated. It reached way beyond The Eagles, Buffalo Springfield, and Poco to influence everyone from The Rolling Stones to The Monkees to Aretha Franklin to The Doors. His musical career, shortened by a well-documented, self-destructive lifestyle, yields a legacy that continues to flourish through Grammy-nominated recordings with The Flying Burrito Brothers, The Byrds, and Emmy Lou Harris.

To celebrate this musical pioneer’s catalog American Troubadour Pat Guadagno has assembled a powerhouse of Americana Notables: Lisa Bouchelle – ‘with a voice that could fill an amphitheater and still make you feel like you are the only one she is singing to’. English-born, NYC-based James Maddock- fresh off his European tour with Counting Crows. Add to that a band of consummate professionals that includes Saturday Night Live drummer ‘First Call’ Shawn Pelton, and you get a special night.

Anyone who has been to one of Pat Guadagno’s musical presentations, Hallelujah (Leonard Cohen), The Heart of Saturday Night (Tom Waits), 100 Years of Hank (Hank Williams), Souvenirs (John Prine), A Marvelous Night (Van Morrison), or BobFest (Bob Dylan) knows to expect the music of Gram Parsons to be delivered with the passion and reverence that have become Guadagno’s trademark.
